Hi, This is Lance
I have a passion for those struggling with life, which comes both from my vast experience in suffering and the knowledge that there are pathways out of the suffering. Pathways to a richer, deeper, more fulfilling life are both possible and attainable. In fact, these pathways can make more than just your life better; the people around you can also be affected in an incredibly positive manner. My coaching style both as a Certified Professional Coach and Certified Professional Recovery Coach is all about practice and effort. I believe in a blending of the law of little things, spiritual teaching and hard work to stretch for and discover our personal treasures, as well as real and lasting inner-peace.
I’ve been a chef and restaurateur in Houston for nearly 30 years. A few years ago, my life as a restaurateur revealed a host of pressure, uncertainty and unhappiness within me. It became unsustainable and, along the way, I was inspired to pursue a degree in Psychology in Addiction Counseling at the University of South Dakota. As I progress through my degree, I am often asked about my journey towards my personal treasure. It dawned on me that I had suddenly become passionate about my life again, in its entirety. My personal and spiritual development quickly began to give my life clarity. So here I am, with a new sense of identity, a feeling of clarity, and a drive to help fellow humans in this day-to-day thing we call life.
“Start by doing what is necessary; then do what is possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.”
– St. Francis of Assisi.
